html-auto-fill-mode: preference variable

Default value: 1

This variable controls whether Epsilon automatically breaks long lines as you type in HTML mode and the related PHP mode. The value 3 makes it break HTML, but not language comments within any embedded scripting. The value 2 makes it break comments in scripting, but not HTML. The value 1 makes it do both, and 0 makes it do neither.
