Epsilon User's Manual and Reference > Variable Reference >

restore-color-on-exit: preference variable

Default value: 1

If nonzero, the Windows Console version of Epsilon tries to restore the screen color when you exit. If zero, Epsilon tries to set the color to the after-exiting color class, as specified with the set-color command. (Sometimes the operating system environment overrides this and forces a particular color.)
