undo-keeps-narrowing: system buffer-specific variable

Default value: 0

If you use the narrow-to-region command to hide part of the buffer, and then use the undo command to undo a change in a hidden part of the buffer, undo removes the narrowing. Some modes set this variable nonzero to prevent that behavior.
