TeX and LaTeX in Epsilon 10
- In LaTeX mode, Epsilon now defaults to inserting LaTeX 2e/3
commands, not LaTeX 2.09 commands. Set the latex-2e-or-3
variable to change this. If you insert a LaTeX environment block and
type the name of a new environment, Epsilon will remember it and
offer it for completion in the future.
- In TeX mode, or whenever the tex-paragraphs variable is
nonzero, Epsilon now uses slightly different rules for determining
paragraph boundaries. Previously, lines that started with a \ at
the edge of a paragraph were not considered part of the paragraph.
Now such lines are part of the paragraph, but lines starting with
\begin or \end now delimit the paragraph no matter
where they occur.
- In concert with a cooperating Windows DVI viewer, the
jump-to-dvi command on Alt-Shift-J displays the output
resulting from the TeX or LaTeX text near point.
- TeX and LaTeX modes now include a new command on
Alt-Shift-C to set text in small caps. We also improved the coloring.
