fill-region  Command Reference   find-delimiter

Epsilon User's Manual and Reference > Command Reference >

filter-region

Send the current region through an external program.  Alt-|

This command prompts for the name of a program and runs it, passing the current region to it as its standard input. It then displays any output from the program in a separate buffer. With a non-negative prefix argument, it replaces the current region with the program's output. With a negative prefix argument, it prompts for the name of a destination buffer. The command runs asynchronously except when it's used to replace the current region; see the process-echo variable to change that.
