compare-files-mode

Examine a list of differences in directories.

In a list of files produced by the compare-files command, you can use these keys:

n
moves to the next file in the list.

p
moves to the previous file.

a
visits the current line's file matching the first directory or pattern specified.

b
visits the current line's file matching the second directory or pattern specified.

c
opens the current line's file from both the first and second directory or pattern specified in two windows one above the other.

s
opens the current line's file from both the first and second directory or pattern specified in two windows side by side.

v or <Enter>
displays a visual-diff of the current line's two files.

d
displays a diff of the current line's two files.

l
(lowercase L) displays a diff of all the different files in the list, concatenated.

Shift-A
copies the current line's file from the first directory or pattern specified to the second, prompting before overwriting it.

Shift-B
copies the current line's file from the second directory or pattern specified to the first, prompting before overwriting it.

h or ?
gives this help.
