Epsilon User's Manual and Reference > Command Reference >

set-abort-key

Specify the key which interrupts commands.

You can set the abort key with the set-abort-key command. Pressing the abort key cancels any currently executing keyboard macros. If you interrupt Epsilon while reading a file from disk or writing a file to disk, it will ask you whether you want to abort or continue. You must set the abort key to an unprefixed key.
